Will Raise Chamiyana Ward Issues with Govt: Khush Vikram Sen

Raja Khush Vikram Sen, the BJP-supported candidate for Chamiyana Ward of the Shimla Zilla Parishad, visited several villages in the Junga tehsil’s Darbhog, Shilonbagh, Koti, Padhechi, and Bharandi Panchayats on Thursday as part of a public outreach campaign, urging voters to vote for him. During his visit, street corner meetings drew significant support.
He stated that he would prioritize the all-round development of the new young generation. He stated that if he wins the District Council election, he would strive to open libraries in rural areas and engage youth through sports, so that young people can stay away from addiction and use their youthful potential to contribute constructively to society and nation-building. He stated that having libraries in rural areas is crucial.
A delighted Vikram Sen stated that his ancestors had centuries-old ties to the former Keonthal princely state. He assured that if he receives the blessings of the people of Keonthal’s 17 panchayats in the election, he would not hesitate to convey the region’s voice to the government. However, he quipped that any elected District Council member to date has never addressed their constituency after winning.
On this occasion, Shimla District BJP President Keshav Chauhan said that despite the Congress Party’s representation in Kasumpti for the past 25 years, there has been no development. He said that the Kasumpti constituency is one of the most backward in the state in terms of education. The constituency’s single degree college has yet to offer science, forcing students to travel to Shimla or Solan to study science.
District BJP spokesperson Jitendra Bhotka said that all ten of the Congress Party’s guarantees have proven false. Women have been duped in the name of 1500 rupees. Employees and pensioners have not received a single penny in the name of Sixth Pay Commission arrears in the last three and a half years. He urged people not to be misled by Congress leaders and that the future belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
