Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu elected Congress legislature party leader, Mukesh Agnihotri to be Deputy Chief minister

Congress legislature party meeting unanimously elected Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu as new legislature party leader and new Chief minister here today. He was elected on the decision of party high command as the decision of AICC read in the meeting and latter it was adopted by all 40 members unanimously. It is worthwhile to mention that Chhatisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Bhagel announced decision of AICC to Media stating that Sukhu was elected State legislative party leader and Mukesh Agnihotri as Deputy leader as deputy chief minister. The Congress party also consulted all the 40 MLA over their individual choice as new leader and it was aprised to every member of Assembly of the party that they have to accept the decision of AICC on the resolution authorising high command for the purpose.
