21.62 Per cent polling in first 4- hrs for bye election

Himachal Pradesh recorded 21.62 pet cent poly in first four hrs for Mandi Parliamentary and three Assembly bye Election the Election Commission of India said.
Chief electoral officer C Palrasu said that Polling beginning with slow note in the peaceful, pleasent Weather under law and order without any major snag in the EVMs.
He said that in first four hrs from 0800 to 1200hrs polling percentage was around 21.62 pc as Mandi Lok Sabha( which comprises of 17 polling Assembly Constituencies) recorded 19.78 pc, Fatehpur Assembly of Kangra district 22.27 pc, Arki in Solan 24.02 pc and Jubbal Kotkhai Assembly 27.85 pc.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur said his family member turned cast his vote for Mandi Parliamentary segment at polling stations no 36 at Senior secondary school Bharari at Murag in Serraj at his home Assembly constituency.
The polling to decide the fate of 18 candidate are being held in the 20 assembly constituency which was mentioned as semifinals by the pollstters as state have total 68 Assembly segments.
