Traditional games are our cultural identity, it is our responsibility to preserve them: Rajiv Rana
Rajiv Rana, member of the Himachal Pradesh State Backward Classes Commission, attended the grand wrestling competition organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Market Reforms Committee at the Deot Siddh Baba Balak Nath complex as the chief guest. Upon arriving at the venue, the committee welcomed and honored the chief guest in a traditional manner.
In his address, Rajiv Rana said that traditional sports are an integral part of our rich cultural heritage. Events like Dangal not only keep our folk traditions alive but also instill discipline, self-confidence, and sportsmanship in the youth. He added that such events provide recognition and opportunities for sports talent in rural areas.
Rajiv Rana, praising the efforts of the organizing committee, said that preserving these traditional games is possible only through the collective participation of society, the administration, and public representatives. He assured all possible support for such cultural and sporting events in the future.
On this occasion, President Sanjay Kumar, Secretary Joginder Chandel, Chief Advisor Pawan Jagota, Yashpal Chandel, Aman Gupta, Nitesh Nanu, Rajat along with other members of the Trade Board and Market Improvement Committee and a large number of local people were present.
