BJP organized a mega event regarding Bilaspur firing incident, this protest was state level in which BJP state president Dr. Rajiv Bindal, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, former Union Minister and MP Anurag Thakur, MLA Randhir Sharma, Trilok Jamwal, JR Katwal, District President Swatantra Sankhyan were present.
Rajiv Bindal attacked the Congress government and said that this government is a government that gives protection to the mafia, murderers and drug peddlers. The law and order situation in all the districts from Chamba to Sirmaur has collapsed, a Dalit youth was murdered in Chamba, more than 300 murders and more than 2000 drug cases have been reported in Sirmaur, Solan, Kangra, Nalagarh till now but the Sukhu government of friends has not paid any heed to this.
Bullets are fired in front of DC, SP, court due to which the public feels unsafe. This government has no right to stay in power. When the king of the state himself starts giving protection to the sinners, then the destruction of the state is certain. The main accused of Bilaspur firing, Bamber Thakur and his son are taking out a march outside our meeting carrying big flags of Congress. What a big irony. Congress leader Bamber Thakur is just a pawn, the king is sitting in Oak Over Shimla. He said that it is certain that Bamber Thakur will go to jail but it is necessary to send away the person who laid hands on him.
Anurag Thakur said that in these Lok Sabha elections, Congress used money power but could not win. The stain of pad shooters in Bilaspur firing incident will never be washed away from Bilaspur. You will be surprised to know that our Bilaspur MLA had already informed the administration about this incident, but the administration did nothing. The collusion of the administration is clearly visible in this incident. This government is a government of mafia rule and hooliganism. He said that the work culture of Congress has become such that the person who has more cases registered against him will be given a bigger ticket. The same has happened in Nalagarh. This government has become a government of friends and wife. We do not understand why action is not taken on any incident. Does the government get anything in exchange for protection?
Jairam Thakur said that the people of Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh had not even imagined that something like this would happen. We have heard of such incidents in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh but it is unfortunate that we have seen it in Himachal Pradesh. We are protesting peacefully here and outside the Congress accused are taking out a rally carrying the Congress flag, this clearly shows that the accused of the firing incident are getting protection. The name of Bamber Thakur and his son is directly linked to this incident but the administration is not doing anything. Jairam said that our phones are on surveillance, each Congress MLA has been given two security guards, a cantonment has been set up outside the houses of ministers and CPS and the condition of this government has deteriorated. This government has set new records in theft and robbery, but the head of the government has nothing to do with these bad conditions. The Chief Minister is asking for votes and bullets are being fired in Bilaspur, the accused is absconding and efforts are being made to hush up this matter. We pledge that the BJP movement will not stop until a proper investigation is done and the accused is caught. Today I can say with confidence that there is an atmosphere of insecurity in the whole of Himachal Pradesh.
