Block level anti-drug day celebrated in Koti school

The block level International Anti-Drug Day of Mashobra Education Block was celebrated in Government Excellent Senior Secondary School Koti. In which children from various schools of Mashobra Education Block participated. On this occasion, slogan writing, painting and street play competitions were organized. In slogan writing, Muskan of Senior Secondary School Koti School got first place, Mehak got second place and Suhani of Senior Secondary School Peeran got third place. Similarly, in painting competition, Anika of Senior Secondary School Baldeniya got first place, Sunita got second place and Vibhuti of Koti School got third place. On this occasion, through street play, the message of staying away from drugs was given to the children.
While presiding over the programme, the acting principal of the school Ramesh Chauhan awarded the students who participated in the competition. In his address, he said that International Anti-Drug Day is celebrated every year on 26 June against drug abuse and illegal trafficking in the country and the world. He said that in the present scenario, the young generation is also getting caught in the clutches of drugs, which is a matter of concern and contemplation. He appealed to the children to keep themselves engaged in creative work and suggested them to develop their interest in sports.
On this occasion, CHC Koti’s Medical Officer Nitika Sharma and Science spokesperson Seema Thakur also gave detailed information to the children about the ill effects of drug addiction.
On this occasion, local staff and children from various schools participated.
