BJP remove Maheswar Singh from race

Ruling BJP in a major development today snatched the party ticket from Kullu Assembly Constituency of Maheswar Singh, founder of Himachal Lokhit Party. Party removing him from race today change party ticket in favor of Narotam Thakur a novice and retired school teacher of Manikaran valley of Kullu, who filed nomination at Kullu on last day of filling nomination today. Mr Maheshwar Singh who is scion of Kullu Sultanpur royal dynasty was earlier declared party candidate and filed nomination from BJP would be on fray as Independent candidate. Party said that son of former HLP leader Hiteshwar Singh decided to file nomination from Banjar against sitting MLA Surender Shourie. Party decided to remove Mr Maheshwar Singh from race as party candidate for his son rebel against party official candidate. In Kullu Mr Maheshwar Singh Thakur was defeated Congress MLA by Surender Singh Thakur in 2017. In 2012 Mr Maheshwar Singh form his own Political outfits and could won on his own seat alone.
