Players from Balag School won 05 gold and one silver medal in Judo

 Students of Government Senior Secondary School, Balg, have secured first place in Shimla district by winning five gold medals and one silver medal in the Under-19 District Judo Competition. It is worth noting that the Under-19 District Judo Competition for students was recently held in Rampur Bushahr, in which Balg School had an excellent performance. Similarly, in Kurash, the school secured second place with one gold and two silver medals.
Principal Ramesh Chand Sharma announced that five of the school’s children—Jatin, Aryan, Sudarshan, Suresh, and Aryan Pandey—have been selected for the state-level competition in judo, and Sanjeev in Kuransh. He added that winning five gold and one silver medals in judo, and selecting six students for the state-level competition, is a significant achievement for the region and the school, for which he congratulated the school’s DPE, Surendra Thakur, and the parents.
The Principal extended his best wishes to the athletes and wished them a bright future. He said that sports inspire children to develop self-confidence, competition, and hard work, which proves to be beneficial in shaping their future. He advised the children to work hard in the state-level competition and continue to achieve success.
