Junga to Get New Library, Youth of 12 Panchayats to Benefit: Negi

A modern library will soon be established at the Junga Police First Armed Battalion campus, featuring informative books on various subjects as well as digital study resources. This initiative aims to provide the youth of the area with the necessary resources to better prepare for competitive examinations.
Bhupendra Singh Negi, Commander of the First Armed Police Battalion, Junga, stated that renovation work on an old battalion building is underway to establish a library, and it will be inaugurated soon. He added that in the first phase, 12 computers will be installed in the library, providing youth with access to digital learning facilities in addition to books.
The Commander stated that thousands of youth from the 12 panchayats of the Junga region will directly benefit from this facility. He added that relatively few youth from the region participate in competitive examinations for various high-level positions in the country and state, even though there is no shortage of talented youth here. Due to a lack of proper guidance and study resources, many young people are unable to realize their dreams.
He explained that currently, there is no public library available for youth in Junga tehsil. This initiative will prove to be a milestone for students and youth preparing for competitive exams. The digital library also plans to provide youth with access to online study materials, e-books, and various educational portals.
He said that the library will offer a rich collection of books related to preparation for competitive exams such as the Union Public Service Commission, Himachal Administrative Service, Banking, SSC, Police, Army, and other government jobs. In addition, national and regional newspapers, monthly magazines, employment-related magazines, and digital study materials will also be available to the youth free of charge.
The people of the area have welcomed this initiative and said that with the establishment of the library, the students of rural areas will have less need to go to cities for studies and they will get quality educational facilities in their own area.
