Vehicular traffic restore on Shimla Cart Road

Vehicular traffic was restored on Shimla Cart road between Old ISBT and Lift this morning after remainng close since yesterday afternoon traffic police control room official informed. Vehicular traffic have been closed down after landslide and caving in road retaining wall near Gurudwara parking and Gunjbazar road at 4.30 pm on Tuesday. A Traffic official told UNI that entire cart road was cleared after removing the debries from the affected portion of roads at 9.30 am this morning. He said that Traffic was diverted via bypass road via New ISBT and Khalini after a big walls started caving in on the roads and completely blocked road after landslide. An Apple loaded double axle truck went off the road near Junga Bypass road this morning. No loss of life reported in the mishap.Police rescue team is on the spot. The apple boxes spill down the hills causing heavy loss to crop.
