Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, 7.38 lakh farmers in Himachal got benefit of Rs 147 crore
BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal has said that by releasing the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, an amount of Rs 20500 crore has been deposited in the accounts of more than 9.70 crore farmers of the country.
Dr. Bindal said that on behalf of lakhs of farmers of Himachal, we thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA government at the Centre for releasing the 20th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
So far Rs 3.89 lakh crore has been deposited in the accounts of the farmers of the country
Dr. Bindal said that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, so far Rs 3.89 lakh crore has been transferred to the accounts of the farmers of the country. He said that on 24 February 2025, Samman Nidhi reached the accounts of 9.26 crore farmers of the country in the form of the 19th installment.
7.38 lakh farmers in Himachal get benefit of Rs 147 crore
Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that Himachal is an agriculture-based state and it is reported that more than 7.38 lakh eligible farmers of Himachal have received an amount of more than Rs 147 crore as the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. He said that the farmers of Himachal are hardworking but the farmers of this hilly state have to bear the brunt of the weather. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is no less than a boon for the farmers of Himachal.
More than 55 thousand farmers in Sirmour benefited by about 11 crores
Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that more than 55 thousand eligible farmers in Sirmaur district are registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. It is reported that in the 20th installment released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an amount of more than 11 crore rupees has been deposited directly in the accounts of more than 55 thousand farmers in Sirmaur district.
PM Kisan Nidhi started in the year 2019
BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had launched PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi in February 2019 to meet the financial needs of landholder farmers. Under this scheme, funds are being deposited directly into the bank accounts linked to the Aadhaar of farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). PM-Kisan Nidhi Yojana was launched with the aim of increasing the income of small and marginal farmers (SMFs) of the country.
