Two drops of life will be administered to 12,870 children in Mashobra block on Sunday

All necessary arrangements have been completed to make the Pulse Polio program successful tomorrow, June 28, in the Mashobra block, and complete arrangements have been made for the Pulse Polio vaccine, including deep freezers, cold boxes and carriers, ice cubes, etc. Block Medical Officer Mashobra, Dr. Sanjay Ranaut, said that under this program, all 12,870 children in the age group of 0 to 5 years will be administered Pulse Polio medicine to make this national program a success.
The Block Medical Officer (BMO) stated that approximately 12,870 children aged 0 to 05 years have been identified in the rural areas of the Mashobra medical block, and 130 pulse polio booths have been set up to administer them. To ensure the success of this campaign, 502 employees and 25 supervisors have been deployed. These include ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, CHOs, health workers, and Ayurvedic department employees, who will provide their services to ensure that no child is deprived of the pulse polio vaccine.
The BMO said that four transit and four mobile teams have been formed to administer pulse polio medicine at various bus stands, slums and various barriers on the border of the block so that the medicine can be administered to small children travelling in buses and living in slums of Kasumpti and Mahli.
He has requested all the Panchayat Pradhans, Women and Youth Clubs, Self Help Groups and all the parents to give their constructive cooperation in making this program successful and the families having children in the age group of 0 to 5 years should compulsorily take them to their nearest polio booth on 28th June and administer the medicine.
