In a bizarre medical case that left doctors stunned, a 33-year-old man from Ghumarwin had 33 coins removed from his stomach at a private hospital. The young man was admitted on January 31 after complaining of severe abdominal pain. However, what doctors discovered during tests was nothing short of astonishing.

An endoscopy and other medical examinations revealed that the man had swallowed multiple coins, including ₹2, ₹10, and ₹20 denominations. A surgical team led by Dr. Ankush successfully extracted 33 coins, weighing a total of 247 grams, from his stomach.

According to Dr. Ankush, the patient suffers from schizophrenia, a mental health condition that likely caused him to ingest the coins over time.
