Quiz campaign for environment awareness
Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board is organizing a State Level Inter School Quiz Competition to create awareness amongst children to save the environment. “Himachal Enviro Quiz- 2022” is being organized in partnership with “Nimyle Eco Friendly India Mission”. The last date of registration for participation in the District Level round is 17.05.2022. The online District level round will held on 20.05.2022. Top 36 teams will move to physical round of the State Level Quiz Competition hosted by quiz master Mr. Venky Srinivasan (CEO, Nexus Consulting), which will be held on 05.06.2022 at Shimla to commemorate the eve of the World Environment Day 2022. Mr Apoorv Devgan, Member Secretary, HPSPCB stated that “Children are the future of the country and safe keepers of our environment. We hope that the quiz will be right trigger to induce positive attitude towards environment conservation”.Board has already reach out nearly 4200 high and senior secondary schools (both public and private) and about 8000 teams for participation in the District Level round. Students from 8th to 12th class shall be eligible to participate in this quiz competition and participants, winners shall be conferred with certificates & awards.
