Pensioners asked to submit life certificate by 30 September, 2026
Under the provisions in H.P. Treasury Rules and instructions by Finance department, the life certificate may be submitted by the pensioners till 30th September, 2026.
The State government has decided that life certificate can be submitted by pensioners/family pensioners only through Jeevan Pramaan application except for medically unfit pensioners, who shall continue to submit manual life certificates duly certified by the concerned doctor.
Pensioners can also generate life certificate at common service centre/lok mitra Kendra where biometric devices are available, by using Jeevan Pramaan portal at (jeevanpramaan.gov.in) or through their own mobile device using the jeevan pramaan application.
The state government has also authorised Indian post payment bank (IPPB) as an agency for the verification and generation of Digital Life Certificate of pensioners through Jeevan Pramaan. Pensioners can avail this verification service across IPPB branches, post offices throughout the state and at their doorstep.
A digital life certificate issued online through Jeevan Pramaan portal (jeevanpramaan.gov.in) as a result of Aadhaar based authentication shall be accepted as valid certificate.
The verification by biometrics through Jeevan Pramaan will be valid for one year.
