HPTDC offers upto 40% discounts during Monsoon season

Due to the monsoon season, the number of tourists in Himachal Pradesh is decreasing. In response, the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) is offering a 20 to 40 percent discount to attract tourists to its hotels. These discounts are available at 41 HPTDC hotels across the state from 15 July to 13 September.

Senior official from HPTDC, explained that the drop in tourist numbers during the monsoon season prompted this decision. Efforts are being made to enhance marketing strategies to ensure maximum tourists can benefit from these discounts. However, certain hotels are excluded from this offer: Hotel Spiti (Kaza), Hotel Kinnar Kailash (Kalpa), Sun and Snow Cottage (Kalpa), Hotel Chandrabhaga (Keylong), Hotel Shivalik (Parwanoo), Hotel Hamir (Hamirpur), Lake View (Bilaspur), Hotel Baghal (Darlaghat), Hotel Noorpur (Noorpur), Hotel Bushahr Regency (Rampur), Suket (Sundernagar), and Hotel Willis Park (Shimla).

Additionally, no discounts will apply at Hotel Iravati, Hotel Champak in Chamba, and Hotel Gaurikund in Bharmour during the Minjar fair from July 28 to August 4. Discounts will also be unavailable at Hotel Gaurikund during the Manimahesh Yatra from August 17 to September 15. Last year’s monsoon disaster, which resulted in the deaths of around 550 people in Himachal Pradesh, underscores the significance of this seasonal strategy.

Notably, a 40% discount is available at The Golf Glade Naldehra, Hotel Geetanjali Dalhousie, Hotel Apple Blossom Fagu, New Rose Common Kasauli, Manimahesh Dalhousie, The Palace Chail, Hotel Hatu Narkanda, and Hotel Dhauladhar Dharamshala.
