Himachal became the first state of India in unemployment: Chetan Bragta

Himachal has again become number one in India in terms of unemployment, state spokesperson Chetan Bragta said.

He said that according to the data released by PLFS on December 3, Himachal Pradesh is number one in urban unemployment. According to this data, 34% of the youth of Himachal aged between 15 to 29 years are unemployed. The shocking figure is that 49% of the women in the age group of 15 to 29 in the state are unemployed.

In the first quarter of the year, April, May, and June, Himachal Pradesh remained number one in unemployment and in the second quarter of July, August and September also, Himachal Pradesh remained number one in unemployment.

Chetan Bragta said that I want to remind the state government that Congress had given a guarantee to the public that in the first cabinet, it would provide jobs to one lakh youth, which means there was a guarantee of employing 5 lakh youth in a year. But the Congress government has failed to employ even a single person in a year. All the guarantees of Congress have so far proved false.

The Narendra Modi government at the Center is continuously providing employment opportunities to the youth. There is only one guarantee in the country and that is Modi’s guarantee.

Chetan Bragta said what is the Himachal Pradesh government celebrating in Dharamshala on 11th December. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu should answer to the fact that Himachal Pradesh is number one in India in unemployment. Chetan Bragta said that as soon as the Congress government was formed, the Chief Minister canceled the employment-providing organization Subordinate Selection Board, due to which the result of the youth who had given the paper for employment has not yet come. Due to this there is anger among the unemployed youth of the state towards the state government. The Chief Minister should tell the people of the state how he will employ the unemployed youth of the state.
