Him MSME Fest 2026 to be held at Shimla’s Ridge; A grand platform for culture, startups and Made in Himachal

Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, is set to witness a historic and memorable event starting Saturday. The Him MSME Fest 2026 is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 3 at the historic The Ridge grounds. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony, while Industry Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan will be the special guest.
This event will set a new direction for Himachal Pradesh’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Organized as a cultural heritage festival by the Himachal Pradesh Industries Department, the fest is considered a major step towards establishing Himachal Pradesh as a strong MSME state.

The celebration will begin in the afternoon, the colors of folk culture will be spread

On the first day of the fest, a colorful cultural program will begin at 2 p.m. at the Ridge Ground. The soul of Himachal Pradesh will come alive on stage through folk culture, traditional dance, music, and art from various districts of the state. These cultural performances will be a memorable experience for tourists and locals alike.
The fest’s highlight will be the Startup Awards, from 4 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. The event will honor innovative young people and emerging entrepreneurs from across the state. The Cultural Fashion Show will showcase Himachali clothing and designs, showcasing “Made in Himachal” in a modern way. This event will symbolize that tradition and modern entrepreneurship are coexisting in Himachal.

Musical evening will be organized in Star Night

In the evening, a cultural evening will be held. The star event of the occasion will be a grand spectacle where music, entertainment and illumination will transform the Ridge grounds into a festive venue.
This Star Night will be a special attraction for entrepreneurs, artisans, tourists, and Shimla residents attending the fest. Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu will be the star attraction.
