Health facilities in the hospitals of the state have collapsed: Sandipani Bhardwaj

Bharatiya Janata Party state spokesperson Sandipani Bhardwaj while giving a statement to the press in Shimla said that the present Congress government of the state is a useless government. In the last 15 months, the Sukhu government has made the condition of the state worse and has failed on every front. Has been proved. Due to the ineffective schemes of the state government, the state is continuously getting buried under the burden of economic crisis and huge debt. On one hand, the Sukhu government says that the state government is short of money, while in the last 15 months, many types of cabinet rank posts like CPS, advisors etc. have been distributed in the state government like hawkers for political gain. Since this state government came to power, no recruitment process has been completed in the state and the guarantees of Congress have become mere false guarantees.

Sandipani Bhardwaj said that Prime Minister Modi envisioned Ayushman Bharat in which free treatment facilities were provided to lakhs of people of the country and the state. Under which 4 lakh 33 thousand people in Himachal Pradesh got the benefit of this scheme. Along with Prime Minister Modi in the country, Jairam Thakur’s government was also very sensitive in the state and we did not stop here, we brought a Himcare scheme which benefited 8.5 lakh people in Himachal Pradesh, but leave aside free medicines and free treatment, about 353 Himcare’s liability of crores of rupees is still pending with this Sukhu government. Due to which people are not getting the facility of free treatment and free medicines in about 292 institutions which are registered with PGI, IGMC and Himcare in this state.

Accusing the government, he said that it was not able to complete even the schemes run by the previous government, leave aside the talk of giving false guarantees like free electricity and pension. Under the Himcare scheme, IGMC’s Rs 92 crore, TADA Medical College’s Rs 107 crore and PGI Chandigarh’s Rs 30 crore are left as liabilities of this government and those who had gone to hospitals for treatment with the assumption that Ayushman and Himcare schemes would be reimbursed to them. We have our card but people are leaving from there disappointed. This government has also failed in giving the state’s share in Ayushman Bharat and the extent has reached that the ambulances that used to bring our patients from the villages for free and the budget of the Government of India for that, is not that budget. For this, the previous expenditure here had to be sent and the state’s share had to be paid, but they have not been able to pay till now, on the contrary, the penalty of Rs 15 lakh from Delhi is a matter of great concern. Free surgeries and medicines are provided to the needy in the hospitals of the state. The facility is also closed and the dues of the free medicines provided by IGMC are still pending due to which the poor people are not getting the facility of these medicines and people are wandering in despair.
