Government delaying replies of queries for months : Congress

Himachal Pradesh Government blamed the opposition Congress for delaying simple queries being asked in the question hours to delay for more than six months depriving the members of opposition to have information deliberately. This was stated in the state assembly by the leader of opposition Mr Mukesh Agnihotri as chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said in reply to the query that information is being collected. Mr Mukesh Agnihotri said that this query was being asked by the members during the previous assembly sessions but the same reply was being given by the state. Agnihotri said that the speaker should not interrupt him while asking the query and instead snub the treasury benches to give reply to the query. LoP also accused the chair of not protecting them stating that the motion of no confidence motion was cut short by the speaker depriving members of opposition to speak on the motion. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that members should not stress on the issue too much as the queries being asked by the members are very lengthy and need time. Mr Speaker said that behavior of the opposition members during the no confidence motion and outside the house after the walkout  was not responsible . Referring to Jagat Singh Negi, the Speaker said that he was heard by him speaking to an electronic media that he (speaker) is ‘Nikama'( idle) which did not expect him to be a senior member. Congress members said that a BJP member also referred them to making Bakwas(nonsense) that was not expunged by the speaker.
