Congress gets a shock, loses the post of Solan Deputy Mayor

Bharatiya Janata Party has won the important post of Deputy Mayor in Solan Municipal Corporation elections. Meera Anand becomes Deputy Mayor.

This is the kind of situation in Congress where fighting is going on in Congress. By winning the seat of Deputy Mayor, Bharatiya Janata Party showed that Congress was no match for the diplomacy of BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal. In this Chavan, out of 17 votes, BJP’s Deputy Mayor candidate got 12 votes.

Congress had given the powers to cast vote to the MLA for this Municipal Corporation, but that vote also did not help the Congress.

Congress used various types of deceit in this election battle, but none of the deceit could work. A BJP councilor from Rajasthan went to attend his granddaughter’s wedding, yet the BJP won the post of Deputy Mayor.

First the date of election was kept as 4th December, after that the decision was taken on 5th December and as a strategy it was shifted to 7th December. 7th December because the marriage of the granddaughter of a councilor there was on the same day. The intention of Congress behind this was clear that BJP councilors should not be able to vote.

Confirming this, BJP State Vice President and Inspector of Municipal Corporation Solan, Sanjeev Katwal said that this election defeat is a big blow for Congress, Congress had never dreamed that in this way it would get the post of Deputy Mayor in Solan. Will have to face defeat. Despite being in power and adopting all the tactics, the Congress party could not save this position. This clearly shows that the infighting of the Congress has now come out.

On this occasion, BJP spokesperson Vivek Sharma said that Congress may try as hard as it wants, but their politics of deceit and deceit will not work. Two ministers of the Congress Party came from outside and one minister himself was from this city but his policy failed in these circumstances.

BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that this victory is historic when a section of the Congress itself voted for the Bharatiya Janata Party, this clearly shows that the Congress councilors also have faith in the policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
