CM Sukhu to present 2nd Himachal Pradesh’s general budget on February 17
Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu who hold the portfolio of Finance would present 2024-25 annual budget estimates on February 17.
A notification issued by Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Partap Shukla here today said that budget session of State assembly would commence on February 14 and continue till February 29.
The state assembly session is likely to cut short this year as notification for the Lok Sabha election may be announced by the election commission of India in a month.
The first day of the budget session on February 14 would be start with Governor’s address at 1100 hrs. First installment of the Supplementary Budget for 2023-2024 would presented on February 15.
Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu who recently completed one year in the power would present his second annual budget estimates for financial year 2024 -25 on February 17, 2024.
The house would start discussions on the budget estimates on February 18 which would continue till February 28 and state budget estimates would be voted by the assembly on February 29 on closing day of session.
