CM Sukhu expresses grief over demise of former Chief Secretary

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the demise of Kanwar Shamsher Singh, former Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh, who passed away today in Shimla at the age of 80.

The Chief Minister stated that Kanwar Shamsher Singh served the State in various administrative positions and was a dedicated officer widely respected for his understanding of policy issues and action-oriented approach. He added that Kanwar Shamsher Singh’s contributions and services will be fondly remembered by the people for years to come.

Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Heartfelt tributes were paid to the former Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Kanwar Shamsher Singh in a condolence meeting held at the State Secretariat today.

The officers and employees of the state government prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
