The aim was to provide a more focused, coordinated and planned approach to integrated socio-economic development. Today, the Modi government, carrying forward this legacy of ‘Development for All’ approach, has made various efforts to provide economic and cultural assistance to the Scheduled Tribes. Steps like making North East the growth engine of India, National Bamboo Mission, increasing and improving the number of Eklavya Vidyalayas, increasing connectivity in tribal areas and Vocal for Local have improved the quality of life of our Scheduled Tribe citizens. Ignoring all international pressures, Atal ji’s government conducted nuclear tests in Pokhran in 1998 to further strengthen the sovereignty and security of the nation, which is most important for good governance. Taking forward this commitment towards national security, the Modi government has shown India’s determination by carrying out a number of ‘surgical strikes’ on terrorism, resulting in a significant decline in major terrorist attacks in recent years. Today the courage of the terrorists has been defeated. Today terrorists do not have the courage to even look at our country India.
