Yoga Day celebrated in Ghandal School with Vedic Mantras

The 11th International Yoga Day was organized in Navdurga Public School, Ghandal with the chanting of Vedic mantras. On this day, all the students and teachers practiced meditation and pranayama along with different yoga postures.
Yoga instructor Meenakshi Verma gave information on the need and importance of yoga practice in the current perspective. She also highlighted the benefits of yoga on the human body along with the implementation of asanas like Bhatrika, Kapalabhati, Tadasana, Bhujangasana, Surya Namaskar along with subtle exercises.
The school’s principal Gopal Sharma, while describing yoga as a world heritage, stressed its necessity for the all-round development of all students and said that yoga is a complete and capable science. The program was conducted by teachers Kamlesh Pant and Mamta Verma.
