Children Awarded at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study
Shimla – Today, at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, the Institute’s Director, Professor Himanshu Kumar Chaturvedi, presented gifts to young children for their beautiful patriotic performances. On this occasion, he appealed to the children to establish high values, goals, and ideals in life alongside their studies.
On this occasion, Mr. Purushottam Tiwari, Principal Accountant General, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, was present as the chief guest. In his address, the Principal Accountant General said that parents are the true friends and guides of children, and that we should follow their guidance in life. He inspired the children to study with full concentration and also invited them to his office to present their performances.
At this ceremony, Kumari Ojaswi Rana, Arshnoor Kaur, Bhavisha Chandel, Mehak, and Master Preeshit received awards.
It is noteworthy that, as in every year, Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Institute this year as well, and the children also presented various patriotic performances on that occasion. This award ceremony was organized at the Institute to honor these children.
