NSUI Turns 56: Celebrating Youth Power and Student Voices
At Congress Bhawan today, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) marked its 56th foundation day with a spirited gathering led by Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania. He praised NSUI’s rich legacy, its ideological strength, and its unwavering commitment to protecting student interests.
Speaking to the young audience, Pathania reminded everyone that youth are the pivot of nation-building. He urged students to embrace positive thinking, awareness, and active participation to bring meaningful change in society. “Today’s youth are not just shaping their own future,” he said, “but laying the foundation for a brighter tomorrow for the country.”
The event saw student leaders and activists pledge to strengthen NSUI further, uniting around the mission of safeguarding student rights and advancing the organization’s values.
The celebration was attended by prominent figures including MLA Harish Janartha, Advocate General Anoop Ratan, OSD to Chief Minister Ritesh Kapret, Organisation Secretary Vinod Jinta, and Youth Congress President Chhatar Singh, alongside many dedicated workers.
Adding to the spirit of the day, State Congress President Vinay Kumar congratulated NSUI members, describing the organization as the “sapling of the Congress party” that grows to strengthen its ideology. He emphasized that NSUI is not only a student body but also a force defending democracy, education, and youth rights. From scholarships to employment opportunities, NSUI continues to fight tirelessly for the welfare of students across India.
Vinay Kumar highlighted how NSUI nurtures future leaders who later contribute through the Youth Congress and eventually play significant roles in the nation’s development. He wished all NSUI officials and workers a bright future, reaffirming that the organization remains at the forefront of student welfare and national progress.
