Suresh Kashyap paid a courtesy call to JP Nadda and wished him on his birthday
Former BJP state president and Member of Parliament Suresh Kashyap paid a courtesy call on the BJP National President and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Honorable Jagat Prakash Nadda, in New Delhi today. On this occasion, MP Suresh Kashyap extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to Honorable Nadda on his birthday and wished him a long, healthy, and successful life.
MP Kashyap said, “Hon’ble Nadda’s leadership, organizational skills, and dedication to public service are an inspiration to all of us workers. His contribution to strengthening the organization and bringing revolutionary changes to the country’s health sector is incomparable and exemplary.” During the meeting, meaningful discussions were held on organizational activities, the central government’s public welfare schemes, and issues related to the development of Himachal Pradesh.
In this context, MP Suresh Kashyap, citing the answer to unstarred question number 6 asked in the Lok Sabha today, stated that the central government is rapidly modernizing ITI and NSTI institutions to strengthen skill development in the country. Currently, 14,682 ITIs, 33 NSTIs, and 120 ITOT institutes operate across the country, providing future-based technology-based training to youth.
To equip youth to adapt to the changing technological era, the government has launched 31 new, forward-looking courses, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), drone technology, 3D printing, semiconductors, and electric vehicle (EV) mechanics. A partnership has also been established with Autodesk to enhance digital design capabilities, providing youth with access to modern software and technical skills.
Special benefits for Himachal Pradesh
Member of Parliament Suresh Kashyap stated that in the past three years, 64,863 youth in Himachal Pradesh have enrolled in ITIs, reflecting the growing interest in technical education among the state’s youth. New technical courses will provide significant employment opportunities for the state’s youth in the tourism, energy, construction, electronics, and service sectors.
He specifically said that courses like drone technology, green hydrogen and small hydro power will prove to be extremely useful for the hilly areas, which will promote employment generation at the local level in a hilly state like Himachal and will also curb migration.
MP Suresh Kashyap said-
“The central government’s visionary initiative in the field of skill development is becoming a powerful means of connecting Himachal’s youth with the new technological revolution. This will provide the state’s youth with the opportunity to become self-reliant. I am continuously striving to establish more skill training institutes in Himachal Pradesh in the future, so that our youth can have access to better training and employment opportunities within the state.”
