Sukhu condoles demise of senior advocate Ghanshyam Das Verma
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the demise of senior advocate of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, Ghanshyam Das Verma who was resident of Thachi Village in Shimla Rural Constituency.
The Chief Minister said that Shri Verma’s demise is an irreparable loss not only to the legal fraternity but also to all those who had the opportunity to work under his guidance and know his personality closely. His contribution to the legal field, as well as his guidance and valuable counsel, would always be remembered.
The Chief Minister also participated in the last rites of Ghanshyam Das Verma and paid his final respects to the departed soul.
He prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul. He has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family members in this hour of grief.
Chief Justice, Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, Judges of HP High Court, Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, Advocate General Anup Rattan also paid respect to the departed soul.
