Kufri School’s meritorious students were awarded prizes at the annual function

Government Senior Secondary School, Kufri, celebrated its annual prize distribution ceremony with great pomp and show on Thursday. Mohan Lal Mehta, retired headmaster of the Education Department, attended as the chief guest, while Ranjeet Rana, Hira Singh Kanwar, Kuldeep Walia, and Devender Atri were present as special guests. The program began with the lighting of lamps. Students who excelled in academic, cultural, sports, and other activities were awarded prizes at the ceremony.
Principal Naresh Kumar welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries and presented the annual report of the school. He informed that in the Arts stream of the 12th class examination of the School Education Board, Aman secured first position by scoring 93 percent, Devyanshi secured second position by scoring 89.4 percent and Jatin Chauhan secured 85.6 percent marks and brought laurels to the school. Similarly, in the 10th class, Shruti, Ranjana and Anuj secured first, second and third positions respectively. On this occasion, the school children entertained the audience by giving colourful performances in attractive costumes.
The school’s senior spokesperson, Ranveer Singh, conducted the stage brilliantly and kept the audience engaged. SMC members, parents, teachers, non-teachers, and a large number of school children were present at the event.
