NSS camp concludes in Dadgi- meritorious students felicitated in the ceremony

The NSS camp which was going on for the last seven days in Government Senior Secondary School, Dadgi, concluded on Sunday. State NSS coordinator and former principal Dilip Thakur participated as the chief guest on this occasion. While the well-known social worker of the area Guru Ram was present as the special guest. Principal Rajendra Verma, while welcoming the chief guest, said that the main objective of this camp was to develop the spirit of selfless service and voluntary work among the volunteers.
He said that during these seven days, the volunteers did yoga, Prabhat Pheri, repaired the roads of the adopted villages Mandari and Shavali and in addition, information was also given on various topics to spread awareness on relevant topics in the camp. In these sessions, the volunteers collected many information including law and traffic system, drug eradication, disaster management, wildlife conservation, first aid, activities of National Service Scheme, nutritious diet, various career options.
On this occasion, the wonderful cultural program presented by the students captivated everyone. Bhavna’s Haryanvi, Kamaljeet and Harsha’s Punjabi and Kartik Piyush, Muskan, Puja, Riya, Priya’s Himachali dance, while Vanita Kumari’s bhajan based on Jai Jai Vanti Raga enthralled the audience. Volunteers Tarun Thakur, Hina, Santosh, Himanshu, Muskan, Puja, Lakshya, Piyush Har Note, Kamlesh Bhavana, Sneha who did excellent work were honored. The chief guest honored program officer Dharm Prakash Verma and Archana Sharma by giving them mementoes. The stage was conducted by Hindi spokesperson Vijay Pant. On this occasion, all the teachers and non-teaching staff including the children of the school were present.
