BJP MPs of the state should unite and requested the Central govt to give special financial help to Himachal : Rathore
All India Congress Committee spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Rathore, MLA from Theog, has said that due to the natural disaster, the state has been estimated to suffer a loss of Rs. 5000 crores so far and due to the current situation, it is expected to increase. He said that there is a great need for environmental protection in the state. There is a need to keep a close watch on illegal cutting and illegal mining and put a complete stop to it. He said that there is a need to keep a close watch on the quality of roads being constructed. Such landslide spots should be identified and those places should be repaired on time so that losses can be avoided. He said that the state government is working day and night to provide relief to the people during this disaster but for this, the support of the Center is very important.
Rathore said that people of the state have elected the Congress government but the state has sent four Lok Sabha and three Rajya Sabha MPs to the Centre, therefore the Central government should help the state wholeheartedly. He urged the BJP MPs of the state to unite and help the state in this time of disaster and requested the Central government to give special financial help to the state. He said that this is the time to help the disaster affected people of the state without doing any kind of politics.
