Vinay Kumar Stresses Ambedkar’s Vision for Integrity and Unity

State Congress President Vinay Kumar has called on party members to embrace the ideals of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and work for social unity and national integrity. This will be our true tribute to Baba Saheb on his birthday.
Remembering Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary at the state Congress headquarters, Rajiv Bhavan, Vinay Kumar said that Baba Saheb ensured equal rights without any discrimination in the Constitution. His dream was that even the last citizen should have the same rights as those sitting in the front row. He said that we must take inspiration from Baba Saheb and come forward to protect the Constitution. He said that his remarkable contributions to the country and society will always be remembered.
Shimla Municipal Corporation Mayor Surendra Chauhan said during this that Baba Saheb moved ahead through tough struggle. The work he did for the upliftment of backward, Dalits and weaker sections made our country prosperous.
Chauhan said that in the Constitution he protected equal rights for all and united the country.
State Women Congress President Zainab Chandel also threw light on the life of Baba Saheb and said that his struggle, his hard work will always inspire us to move forward.
On this occasion, senior Congress leaders including former minister Gangaram Musafir, Congress Vice President Amit Nanda, State General Secretary Yashpal Tanaiik, Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, Shimla Congress Committee Urban President Inderjit Singh, Vineet Gautam, councillors of Shimla Municipal Corporation and many other party officials and workers offered flowers on the portrait of Baba Saheb.
