Vinay Kumar affirmed that all castes will receive fair representation in PCC, district, and block committees

State Congress President Vinay Kumar has stated that people from all castes will be given appropriate representation in the PCC, district, and block executive committees. Expressing gratitude to the central leadership, he said that this time Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi have entrusted him with the important responsibility of State President, a Scheduled Caste. He said that this is a great privilege for the Scheduled Castes in the state.
Today, while participating as a special guest in the state level meeting of the Scheduled Caste Department of the Congress Party at the State Congress Headquarters Rajiv Bhawan, Vinay Kumar said that today everyone will have to come forward unitedly against the way BJP is weakening the democracy in the country and tearing the Constitution to pieces.
Vinay Kumar assured all the Scheduled Caste officials present in the meeting that their demands and suggestions would be conveyed to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
Earlier, National President of the Scheduled Castes Department, Rajendra Pal Gautam, while shedding light on the life of Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar, said that we should move forward by taking inspiration from his struggle. He said that Baba Bhimrao protected the rights of the Scheduled Castes people in the Constitution. But sadly, today the BJP government at the Centre is bent on weakening the Constitution and eliminating their rights. He said that today those multi-purpose institutions which used to provide jobs to the citizens of the country are being sold. He said that the rights of the poor and Dalits are being snatched away. Education has been made so expensive that the poor middle class is deprived of it.
Rajendra Pal Gautam said that unfortunately, BJP is snatching away what Congress had given to the people of the country under social justice.
Present in the meeting were State in-charge of Scheduled Caste Department Karmaveer Bodh, Ayurveda Minister in the State Government Yadavendra Goma, MLA Kishori Lal, Suresh Kumar, former Minister Gangu Ram Musafir, Vice President of Small Savings Prakash Karad, President of State Scheduled Caste Department Amit Nanda, Lal Singh Kaushal, Vivek Kumar and officials of the department from across the state.
By passing a resolution in the meeting, the central leadership expressed gratitude to National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for making Vinay Kumar the State President from Scheduled Caste in the state.
