The Mayor Shimla Surendra Chauhan released the poster of the web series The White Truth

The poster of the web series ‘The White Truth’, being prepared by Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti for the purpose of creating public awareness against drug addiction, was formally released by Mayor Surendra Chauhan in Shimla.
Mayor Surendra Chauhan stated that this excellent effort by the Gyan Vigyan Samiti is commendable and will be a very effective step towards de-addiction in society. The Mayor stated that this web series will be formally launched by the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on January 25th.
He praised the Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti’s campaign against drug abuse, saying, “Dangerous drugs like Chitta have severely affected youth and society. Therefore, a web series on this topic will play a vital role in raising awareness among society.” He called this social initiative by the committee a need of the hour.
Suryansh, director of The White Tooth web series, stated that this web series is part of a social campaign that will realistically present the ill effects of drug addiction and inspire youth to stay away from drugs. The committee aims to spread a positive message in society through this web series and take a strong initiative towards a drug-free Himachal.
State Secretary of the Samiti, Satyawan Pundir appealed to the media and the general public to watch, share and contribute to this web series and become a part of this mass movement against drug abuse.
