The Gram Sabha resolved to make Junga Panchayat a model of development

 The first Gram Sabha of the newly formed Panchayat was held in the Tehsil headquarters’ Gram Panchayat Junga, chaired by Pradhan Ramlal. Approximately 250 villagers attended the meeting, completing the quorum for the Gram Sabha.
District Council member Khush Vikram Sen and Panchayat Samiti member Seema Sen were specially present at the meeting. Khush Vikram Sen promised full support for the development of the Panchayat. In the Gram Sabha, everyone resolved to develop Junga Panchayat as a model Panchayat for development.
During the meeting, people were urged to cooperate in spreading the campaign against drugs, especially Chitta, to the masses. On this occasion, a detailed discussion was held on strengthening the sanitation system in Junga Bazaar and the Panchayat area, and improving basic amenities like drinking water, electricity, and roads. The work to be carried out under various development schemes through the Panchayat in the current financial year was also discussed. The villagers present in the Gram Sabha also put forward their problems and suggestions, for which the Panchayat assured necessary action.
On this occasion, Deputy Pradhan Ishwar Dutt, Ward Member Yogmaya Sharma, Manoj Kumar, Urmila, Ajay Kumar, Suman Devi, Ramesh Kumar, Rekha Devi along with Panchayat Secretary Meera Kumari, Durga Singh Thakur and a large number of Panchayat residents were present.
Similarly, a Gram Sabha was also organised in Bhadech near Junga, which was presided over by Pradhan Shakuntala Devi.
