The date for filling posts in JSV department should be extended – Prem Thakur

BJP District Shimla President Prem Thakur has expressed the possibility of back door entry in various posts being filled temporarily by Jal Shakti Department, Kasumpti Mandal-1 Shimla. They allege that only one week’s time has been given to apply for these posts. They say that the notification has been signed by Executive Engineer JSV Kasupanti Mandal on January 27 and applications have been invited till February 08. Any government agency gives at least a month’s time for the application. It is not logical for the JSV department to give one week’s time, which the department should consider.
It should be noted that notification has been issued by Jal Shakti Department Divisional Office Kasupanti on January 27 in which 07 posts of Para Fitter, 20 posts of Para Pump Operator and 29 posts of Multipurpose Worker are to be filled temporarily. Prem Thakur says that the department has not done any publicity regarding the notified posts in Kasupanti constituency, due to which innumerable youth of rural environment will be deprived of applying for these posts.
They allege that no reservation has been made for the children of SC, ST, OBC, disabled and ex-servicemen in the notified posts, due to which the youth of these categories will not be able to get benefits. He said that due to the shortcomings in the issued notification, there is a possibility that these posts will be filled as per the wishes of the politicians. Told that no mark sheet for selection has been mentioned in the issued notification. Six months experience has been asked for the post of Multipurpose Worker, which probably no youth will have, which is not logical.
BJP District Shimla President Prem Thakur has demanded from the government that the date of application to fill these posts should be extended by at least one month so that youth from rural areas can also apply. Apart from this, arrangements should be made for reservation in notified posts so that youth of every category can get its benefit.
Executive Engineer JSV Mandal Kasumpti Basant Rathore said that the youth have been given sufficient time to apply. Apart from this, there is no provision for reservation in the rules made by the government to fill these posts.
