Ten applications have been received for the post of District President : Sanjana Jatav

MP Sanjana Jatav, the All India Congress Committee’s designated observer for the Organization Creation Campaign, said that for the first time in the country, the Congress party is launching an Organization Creation Campaign, under which district presidents will be appointed. Applications will be accepted from interested individuals for these appointments. This campaign has been completed in many states and is still ongoing in others, including Himachal Pradesh, where it has been launched.
Addressing a press conference at the state Congress headquarters Rajiv Bhawan today, Sanjana Jatav said that as per the thinking of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and the resolution passed in the Ahmedabad convention, this is both a resolution and an effort to move forward in a new direction for strengthening the Congress party in the country.
Sanjana Jatav said that she is on a tour of Shimla district from today and during this, she will hold joint and individual meetings with the party leaders of Shimla city, rural and Kusampti, officials of leading organizations and departments and take their opinion regarding the selection of the district president. She told that tomorrow she will meet the party leaders of Rampur, Chaupal and Theog assembly constituencies in Theog and on 29th she will meet the party leaders of Jubbal Kotkhai and Rohru assembly constituencies in Hatkoti and take their opinion about the district president.
Sanjana Jatav said that after knowing everyone’s opinion, a panel of six names will be made and sent to the central high command and the high command will take the final decision on it.
