Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government dissolves Hamirpur Staff Selection Commission
Himachal Pradesh Government today dissolved the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection after having high level Departmental and police probe in to the functioning and leakage of examination papers of the selection process. Addressing media person here today Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that IAS officer Abishaik Jain and Anticorruption Bureau and state vigilance IG S. Shiva have submitted the departmental and vigilance probe report and it was established in the probe that for last three years Examinations being conducted by the HPSSSB is being leaked to a group of middlemen with connivance of the officials of the selection board. The state government have already kept the entire functioning of board in suspension would be dissolved with effect from today, Chief Minister announced stating that all the employees of Board were put in surplus pool and they have been directed to give the option of choice to join the government office and department. He said that implicated employees are being probed by the state SIT of ACB and SV are being booked . He said that the process of the recruitments being conducted by the HPSSSB Hamirpur would be now transferred to Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission who would conduct the examination and tests ongoing recruitment process. Mr Sukhu said that a verifications is also being conducted to the selected employees of board during last three years to find out how many of them being benefited from the question paper scams. He said that after having completion of the verification the government would also decide fate of such employees. Government could not kept the board continue function as such as for last three years HPSSSB Hamirpur was indulged in the paper leakage which played with the future of number unemployed youth. He said that probe is being conducted in last two months by the department and police and it was established that the board did not serve its mandate. He said that all examination being conducted by the Commission in future were already suspend for 35 days now being carried by the HPPSC. He said that the government assured affected students who had applied for various jobs in different recruitment process but they have to face the apathy of this ongoing scams would be provided relief by the government to continue selection by the public Service Selections. He said that HPPSC would continue to served the mandate of HPSSSB till the government would not completely decide about how long it would continue the work. He said that bitter decisions was taken only after finding that role of board could not be trusted any longer. He said that youths are concerned about the functioning of boards as it spoiled their bright future despite they being competent and having good preparation of examinations they had not been shortlisted. Chief Minister said that number of things are came forth in the probe which could not be disclosed yet but order have been passed to take action against the dishonest officers and middleman who are running the racket of fake recruitments under the garb of HPSSSB. Mr Sukhu said that he holds a meeting of Police officers on December 12 a day after taking oath of CMO and constituted SIT which successfully exposed the JOA(IT) paper leak on December 23 for the examination to be held on last Sunday on December 25 as the ACB & SV fond in the JOA(IT) case that questions paper was sold for Rs 2.50 lakh and attempts were being made to sold it to more candidates. On December 27 Mr Sukhu also stated that it was establish during the probe that more questions papers of other recruitment examination going to be held in future are also being going to leaked as the probe had revealed that number scams going since three years of previous BJP government. During SIT search in home of HPSSC Employees three questions papers including entrance examination of Junior Auditor , computer operator and future JOA(IT) examinations was recovered as Junior Auditor examination was scheduled on January 1 2023. Finding of specimen of questions paper in the house of Uma Azad posted as Superintendent shows that questions paper was simultaneously or separately being leaked by the Employees which may be known to all others members and chairman of the Commission. SIT have recovered Rs 6.40 lakh cash during the raid . Government found that investigation found the role of employees are being arrested and brought under probe could not be trusted anymore and decisions to scrap the HPSSSB is demand of the hours .
