Students took out a rally in Junga on Tobacco Prohibition Day
Soumya won the first place in the debate competition.
On the International No Tobacco Day, Keonthal Convent Public School organised a rally in Junga to make people aware about the ill effects of tobacco addiction on health. On this occasion, a debate competition on tobacco prohibition was also organised. In which Saumya Sharma, a student of class 10th, got the first position and Niharika Sharma got the second position. On this occasion, Anuradha Sharma administered the oath to the children and teachers not to take drugs. Head teacher MK Sharma made the children aware about not taking drugs in life. He said that we can stay away from drugs by doing yoga, eating good food, reading good literature and listening to good music.
