Students given information about glacier conservation at GESS Chiyog

Various competitions were organized in Government Excellent Secondary School Chiyog on the occasion of World Water Day. This year, the Government of India has given the topic of glacier conservation for discussion on World Water Day. On this occasion, competitions like speech, slogan writing, painting exhibition, quiz etc. were organized.
Shrey and Ashish, representatives of Eco Science Shimla, gave information to the students about glacier conservation. On this occasion, all the children and staff members took an oath to conserve water.
Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma informed the students about the importance of water conservation and the utility of water and the participating students were awarded. On this occasion, Eco Club in-charge Sanvita Chauhan thanked everyone for the successful event. On this occasion, all the teachers, staff and students of the school were present.
