Students gave the message of road safety by presenting a street play

 Various competitive activities were conducted under the Road Safety Week by the Road Safety Club in Government College, Chail Koti. In the speech competition, Muskaan Thakur stood first, Ashish stood second and Priyanka Bhardwaj stood third. Similarly, in poetry recitation, Namrata stood first, and Aditi and Muskaan Negi stood second and third respectively. In chart making, Priyanshi stood first, Meenakshi stood second and Neha Sharma stood third. In slogan writing, Himani stood first, Ritika Verma second, and Arun stood third, and in quiz competition, Team Chanakya stood first, Team Aryabhata second and Team Ramanuja stood third.
College Principal Dr. Manisha Kohli distributed prizes to the winners. In his address, he said that in the present times, the prevalence of road accidents is increasing, which is worrying. It is very important for every driver to have knowledge related to road safety. Increasing accidents have become a big problem in the form of disasters. Accidents can be prevented only through awareness and education.
Apart from this, to make students and communities aware of road safety, Dr. Nitika, the Medical in charge of Koti Health Center, gave information about emergency services at the time of the accident. Dr. Devendra Sharma threw light on the rules, laws, and the entire scenario of road safety. On this occasion, students gave the message of road safety to the local people through street drama. Road Safety Club has been running an awareness campaign about road safety for a week. Before this, a road safety rally was also held in Koti Bazaar. This was a successful program. Along with the students, all the staff members also participated in it.
