Six die 3 sustains injuries at Sundernagar
Six people died and three others were injured when a Bolero SUV carrying them fell down in a gorge near Bhalana Khudi Nala in the Kateru area under BSL police station Sundernagar in district Mandi this morning.
In the rain-affected area it was the local people reached the spot and after a lot of effort, all the victims evacuated from the gorge to the road from where they were taken to Sundernagar and Nerchowk Medical College hospitals.
The administration had to face a lot of trouble in the relief and rescue work due to excessive darkness at night.
The victim’s vehicle are returning from Kamrunag temple when the mishap happened.
The deceased have been identified as Lala Ram (50) Roop Lal (55) , Sunil Kumar (35) Gobind Ram (60) Raghuram and Mohan (55), and Driver Anil Dutt(52).
MLA Vinod Kumar said that instructions have been given to the administration to provide all possible help to the affected families.
