Shimla Police urge slow driving on Chalkar-Tawimor road

Shimla Police warned the commuters to drive slowly on extremely slippery roads between Chakkar-Tawimor in the town flowing freezing water and sleet to avoid misshap.
A advisory issued for the traffic between Chakkar-Tawimor road, Superintendent of Police Shimla Ms Monika Bhutunguru caution the people that vehicles may skit due to on the sleet and freezing of rain water .
She said that moves of vehicle on junction  is moving slowly. 
“Shimla Police requests all of you to drive the vehicle carefully at a slow speed. ” a Twitter post cautioned the commuters and drivers on this road.
Shimla and nearby areas were lashed and experience  thick layer of sleet and hails along snowflake on Monday afternoon.
The vehicular traffic disrupted between Chakkar-Tawimor and MLA crossing-Boileauganj , Tawimor and Summerhill  road for couple of hours.
Tourist resort Kufri and Narkanda recorded light spell of Snowfall in the morning but vehicular traffic was open on Hindustan Tibet National Highway between Kufri and Narkanda , She added.
