Seminar on Education, Economy and Environment at Degree College Chail Koti

Under the joint aegis of Government Colleges Chail-Koti and Theog, Degree College Chail successfully organized a one-day national symposium on the topic: “Interrelationships between education, economy, and environment for a better future.” Approximately 80 participants, including teachers, researchers, and scholars, presented their research papers.
In her address, the symposium’s keynote speaker, Prof. Meenakshi F. Paul, emphasized the need for sustainable development and the protection of the environment and ecology. She underscored the interrelationships between education, economic development, and environmental balance in the contemporary global context.
Special invited speaker Prof. Devendra Verma said that educational institutions can play an important role in raising environmental awareness and sensitizing the society towards sustainable development.
In her address, College Principal Dr. Deepshikha Bhardwaj stated that education, the economy, and the environment are complementary and play a vital role in social and economic development. She also highlighted the social responsibility of educational institutions.
At the end of the programme, Principal of Degree College Theog, Dr. Bhupinder Singh Thakur presented the vote of thanks and congratulated the organizing committee, faculty members and staff for the successful organization of the seminar.
