Sanjay Awasthi has accused the BJP of trying to gain political mileage in the name of law and order in the state

State Congress Working President Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi has accused the BJP of trying to gain political mileage in the name of law and order in the state. Describing the firing incident in the court premises in Bilaspur as unfortunate, he said that action is being taken against the culprits as per law and this incident should not be linked with law and order. The police is investigating this matter impartially and the culprits will not be spared under any circumstances.

Describing the BJP’s protest in Bilaspur as completely irresponsible, Awasthi said that the BJP is making unsuccessful attempts to give it a political colour. He slammed former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and other BJP leaders and said that they should not try to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the state. He said that no one is above the law and let the law do its work.

Sanjay Awasthi has asked the police administration to deal with any such incident strictly so that such incident is not repeated in future
