Rahul Gandhi Bharat Jodo Yatra in Himachal today

Bharat Jodo Yatra launched by AICC youth leader Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to start at Ghatota on Himachal Pradesh -Panjab border in Kangra district on Wednesday. According to schedule of BJY Mr Gandhi would walk on foot along with jubilant party chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri after party scripted victory in Assembly poll ending Modi Chrisma. Himachal Pradesh witnessing freezing cold wave and thick fog may have real test for masculine Gandhi who had walked on foot doing white half sleeve t-shirt thousands of kilometers. According to party sources there is great enthusiasm among party workers and general public as Gandhi’s remained closed to public heart of people of hill state. Father of nation Mahatma Gandhi also visited the state seven to eight times in the state in similar Bharat Jodo Yatra and signed number of historical treaties and agreement with Britishers. AICC running three Government in the country, Himachal Pradesh is recent one in the party account during its hay days. Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to arrive at 7 an at Ghatota near Toll Plaza in Indora Assembly. Indora witnessed communal during last BJP rule on the land dispute it may be the sole purpose of BJY to shortlist the venue. Chief minister  Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has himself visited Manser Toll Plaza near Indora, the venue of the entry point of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra. He also visited the proposed venue of the public meeting at Malot village in Indora. New Government had issued directions to the officers to make foolproof arrangements so that minimum inconvenience is caused to the general public. Ruling party also stated working in freezing night  also  to ensure to the event becomes memorable one. Among Congress national leaders likely to attend the Yatra are State Congress In charge, Rajiv Shukla,  MP and State Congress President Pratibha Singh and senior Congress leader Anand Sharma, Ministers Dr Dhani Ram Shandil, Chander Kumar, Rohit Thakur, co-in charge, State Congress Shri Sanjay Dutt, CPS Shri Sanjay Awasthi, political advisor to Chief Minister Shri Sunil Sharma, Principal Advisor Media Shri Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor IT and Innovation Shri Gokul Butail, Deputy Commissioner Kangra, Dr Nipun Jindal, former Minister, MLAs, former MLAs  and other. It is worthwhile to mention that party has plan to start yatra from Ghatota border at 7 am today which would take halt at 11 am at Kashtriya College Indora and arrived at 3 pm at Khatgharh in Nadaun Assembly Constituency of Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. BJY likely to halt at Malot in Indora at 5.30. After going through four halts it would took night halt at Pathankot in Punjab for night.
