Prime Minister should tell where the money was given to Himachal during the disaster: Sukhu

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should tell where the money was given to Himachal Pradesh to deal with natural disasters. The Prime Minister should talk with the figures during his visit to Himachal. Himachal has received NDRF and SDRF money, which is available whether disaster occurs or not. The state government had sent a revised claim note of Rs 9900 crore to the Central Government, but no amount was received from that also. BJP leaders should stop lying and start telling how much special relief amount has been given by the Center to Himachal.

The Chief Minister gave this reply to the Prime Minister’s rhetorical speech in Nahan and Mandi while addressing public meetings in Kot, Chauri and Taunidevi of Sujanpur assembly constituency. Sukhwinder Singh said that Modi ji is saying that women did not get Rs 1500. Perhaps Jairam Thakur gave him wrong information. The Prime Minister should not lie, women have started getting pension of Rs 1500 in Lahaul Spiti. 2.37 lakh women taking social security pension of Rs 1150 have also started getting Rs 1500 in their accounts. The Prime Minister should ask Jairam Thakur why he went to the Election Commission to withhold Rs 1500. If BJP writes to the Election Commission today that they have no objection, Rs 1500 will be credited to the accounts of the women who have filled the form tomorrow.

Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Congress has guaranteed Rs 1500, women will get this amount after June 4. BJP and Jairam Thakur will not be able to stop women’s money no matter how much force they use. BJP invested money to buy Congress MLAs in the political market, but they did not have the money to give in the disaster. Former Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Bike was also not seen in the disaster. When I visited myself, I came from Chandigarh. Rajendra Bike is looting the mineral wealth of the people of Sujanpur from the pits. Many of his crushers are in partnership, he used to come only to get his work done and never brought any work for the public. The development of Sujanpur is the contribution of Congress. Rajendra will now remain a sellout and will not stand in the public court. No matter how many temptations he gives to the public, no one is going to be fooled. He has betrayed the people of Sujanpur. He did not like the MLA of Hamirpur district, he became so ambitious for his ministerial post that he sold himself in the political market of BJP. Drank fresh juice with us before the Rajya Sabha elections, Abhishek kept vowing to make Manu Singhvi win, but little did I know that he had already sold himself.

The Chief Minister said that Anurag Thakur has also developed the habit of lying these days. He is continuously lying about Hamirpur Medical College. The Medical College of Hamirpur was approved on March 3, 2014, not in 2015. Anurag has crossed the limits of lying, he does not know the truth. If BJP had brought the medical college, it would have been named after Deen Dayal Upadhyay and not Dr. Radhakrishnan. Chamba Medical College is in the name of Jawaharlal Nehru and Nahan Medical College is in the name of Yashwant Parmar ji, because it is the contribution of Congress. If BJP had brought it, it would have named it after its leaders. The Chief Minister said that the fight in Sujanpur is between honest and dishonest people. Congress has given ticket to Captain Ranjit on honesty, people of Sujanpur should support him, all the problems including water, destitute animals in the area will be solved. I will also work as your MLA. Vote for Satpal Raizada for Lok Sabha. BJP MP has been elected from Hamirpur seat for 26 years, but no one has done any work. The train has reached Hamirpur and is going whistling, Anurag has always cheated people even on the issue of railway line. Now he is saying that the state government is not giving money.

During this, Lok Sabha candidate Satpal Raizada, Assembly candidate Captain Ranjit, MLA Chandrashekhar, former CPS Anita Verma, KCC Bank Chairman Kuldeep Pathania, District President Suman Bharti, Special Supervisor Sandeep, President Rajendra Verma, former District President Naresh Thakur etc. were present.
