Pratibha has expressed grief over increased drug addiction
State Congress President Pratibha Singh has expressed grief over the increasing drug addiction and increasing cases of chitta among the youth and said that a strong state-wide campaign should be launched against drug addiction so that this growing evil can be rooted out by involving the administration as well as all sections of the society. She has said that due to the increasing drug addiction, many youths are dying every day which is a matter of great concern.
Pratibha Singh has said that chitta or any other type of illegal drug has ruined thousands of families today. She has said that collective efforts of the people are very much needed to root out this evil of drug addiction.
Pratibha Singh has praised the announcement of some organizations to reward those who give secret information about people involved in this business and said that this decision will prove to be an inspiration towards the elimination of drug abuse in the society. She has urged all sections of the society to give full cooperation to the police and administration to eradicate this evil of drug abuse from its roots, so that the future generation of the country and the state can be saved from the increasing prevalence of this drug. She has also praised the promptness of the police administration and said that strict action should be taken against those involved in the illegal drug business and no leniency of any kind should be shown in this.
