Panchayat should make provision for budget for development of school 

In order to provide better basic facilities to the students of Government Senior Secondary School, Peeran, the School Management Committee (SMC) submitted a proposal for various development works to the Gram Panchayat Peeran. SMC President Vidya Kumari, Vice President Sarla Sharma, Committee members Meera Verma (LRP) and Ranjana, along with other members, participated in the meeting.
SMC President Vidya Kumari explained that the school’s lack of a main entrance allows stray cattle to enter the school premises, posing a threat to the safety of young children in particular. She urged the Panchayat to allocate budgetary funds for installing a main gate, repairing the toilets, fencing the playground, and laying interlock tiles on the path from the Panchayat House to the school.
He informed that a cleanliness campaign will soon be launched in the school. Under this campaign, drinking water tanks will be cleaned and filled with bleaching powder and chlorinated, so that the consumption of impure water does not adversely affect the health of the children.
Village Panchayat head Nisha Devi, Deputy Head Attar Singh Thakur, and Panchayat Secretary Rajiv Thakur assured that all development work at the school would be completed in a phased manner. They said that as soon as the budget is received under the 16th Finance Commission, the construction of school toilets and other necessary work will be undertaken on a priority basis.
